Innovation Boot Camp 2019, 8 –11 November

Are you up for it? Solving real challenges, the world and companies are facing, then this is a challenge for you. Come alone or bring your awesome multiskilled crew. Surely you can do something about that important glitch or problem. 

Innovation Boot Camp is what it sounds like. A few days packed with inspiration, interesting people, tools, methods, active business coaching and time to focus and learn. Days that can take you and your future startup (fingers crossed) places. Which team gets to go on an inspirational business trip? That depends on your work and the jury’s decision. A hint, innovations, new sustainable companies and jobs are necessary steppingstones to the future.

Sign up! As a team with your own idea or as a future crewmember in a team taking on suggested problems.

Out of ideas? You can of course sign up as future crewmember, but you (and your crew) could also spend some quality time thinking about what to think about - and get a head start. As if by chance there will be an idea generation workshop on 4 November, 16:30-19:30. Something for you? Venue: At multiple locations within biking distance, downtown and at campus. A way to get acquainted with some of Umeå:s startup venues. We’ll get back with more precise coordinates.

Since we hope to present happy winners, there must be some sort of evaluation system and criteria. We want the parameters and criteria to work in your favor, promoting progress of your business idea. You will find out more about the specifics during Innovation Boot Camp. Until then, remember that innovations, new sustainable companies and jobs are necessary steppingstones to the future. Read up on Agenda 2030, why don’t you?

It is your idea and it’s up to you to take it from here. There are competitions, programs, incubators, financial solutions, mentors and coaches to help you take your idea further. Make use of it (of us), try to win that good money, get those loyal and devoted customers. And make future happen.
